What’s New for the 2024 GMC Terrain?
The GMC Terrain is a small, spirited crossover that delivers the full utility and the modern features you want your next vehicle to have. The 2024 GMC Terrain is included in the model’s second generation, bringing only a few updates online.
The most significant updates are the availability of two new exterior colors, Downpour Metallic and Riptide Metallic. Overall, the style of the GMC Terrain is unchanged. The Terrain has a sporty, sleek look with athletic, smooth side contours and expressive black molding. The grille boasts both black and chrome coloring with horizontal accent bars. The tall, slender headlights are enhanced by large, C-shaped LED bars. Exterior features could include heated side mirrors, 17-inch to 19-inch wheels, fog lamps, a hands-free liftgate, roof rails, a skid plate, and a sunroof.
Another update is the new availability of the Pro Safety Plus package for the AT4 trim level. This updated package includes a blind-spot warning system with rear cross-traffic sensing.
The GMC Terrain continues to have one engine available for its four trims. This is a 175-horsepower, turbo, 1.5-liter, four-cylinder engine. It comes with a nine-speed auto transmission, and most trim levels give you the option of a front-wheel or all-wheel drivetrain system.
Many of the features offered in the 2023 Terrain are also offered in the 2024 version. Some of these are a surround-view monitor, a semi-automated parking system, adaptive cruise control, heated front and rear seats, a Bose sound system, a head-up display, a wireless charging pad, a safety alert seat, a leather-wrapped and heated steering wheel, remote engine start, adaptive cruise control, an 8-inch central display screen, leather upholstery, and other desirable features.
