2025 Chevrolet Trax vs 2024 Chevrolet Trax

Serving Madison, OH

The Chevrolet Trax is a strong contender for small crossover SUV shoppers due to its bold style and attractive price tag. The second generation of this two-row model was introduced in 2024, bringing numerous improvements for drivers to enjoy. Fresh off these updates, the 2025 Trax offers only a few changes. Here’s what you can expect from the 2024 and 2025 Trax models.

Performance

The main difference between the 2024 and 2025 Trax models lies in their fuel options. For 2025, this crossover SUV is now compatible with E85 fuel. All five trim levels continue to feature a turbocharged 1.2-liter, four-cylinder gas engine that produces 137 horsepower. The engine is available with front-wheel drive and a six-speed automatic transmission.

Appearance

The exciting improvements introduced in the 2024 model remain unchanged for the latest Trax version, but two new paint colors have been added to the options: Cypress Gray and Marina Blue Metallic. The updated style introduced in the 2024 model year features modern appeal, dramatic angles over the profile, and a sharply styled nose. The hood is strongly defined on its sides as it descends toward the innovative grille and standout headlights. The grille is styled with offset, horizontal lines and an illuminated bar that crosses between the headlights. The LED headlights are dominated by a thick, slanted bar and are supported by a large, slender element that points inward toward the grille. The sides reveal a pinwheel design on the wheels as well as modest body molding over the fenders. The molding flares along the lower door panel and is accentuated by a sharp, body-colored element.

Features

The safety, tech, and convenience features in the Trax are unchanged. The entry-level LS includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, forward collision avoidance, a wireless internet hotspot, an 8-inch touch display screen, a four-speaker sound system, lane keeping, and a lane departure warning. Optional features for the LS are remote start, heated front seats, and heated side mirrors. If you opt for a higher-level Trax trim, your crossover SUV may also have a flat-bottom steering wheel with heat, a digital instrument panel, a more advanced sound system, roof rails, a push-button ignition, an 11-inch touch display screen, auto climate control, keyless entry, a blind-spot warning system, adaptive cruise control, and a rear cross-traffic detection system.

With a complete redesign in the 2024 model year and additional improvements made in the 2025 model year, the Chevrolet Trax is a crossover loaded with appeal. Contact our Classic Chevrolet GMC sales associates today to review the latest updates in person and get behind the wheel for a test drive.
