What’s New for the 2025 Chevrolet Trax?
The Chevrolet Trax benefited from a complete redesign in 2024 with the launch of its second generation. As a result of these front-to-rear improvements, the 2025 Chevrolet Trax receives only a few updates. One improvement is in the engine’s ability to now use E85 fuel. In addition, shoppers can now choose from two new exterior paint colors: Marina Blue Metallic and Cypress Gray.
Overall, the head-turning design of the 2025 Trax is unchanged from the 2024 version. The Trax has a contemporary, athletic look, a sharp front-end design, and angled surfaces throughout the profile. Across the lower door panels, you will find a swell of black molding topped by a thick, sharp accent line. The headlights are remarkable, with an LED bar angled toward the grille and mounted above a taller light. The grille stands out with its staggered, linear mesh and thick, horizontal accent bar. The available or standard exterior features on the Trax are up to 19-inch wheels, remote start, roof rails, and glossy black trim.
All five trims for the 2025 Chevrolet Trax are offered with a turbo 1.2-liter, three-cylinder engine. This 137-horsepower unit is exclusively equipped with front-wheel drive. In addition, the engine links to a six-speed auto transmission.
The Trax is graciously appointed with a solid mix of features for all trims. The base trim’s standard features are lane keeping, an 8-inch touch display screen, a wireless internet hotspot, a four-speaker sound system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, forward collision mitigation, and a lane departure system. The base trim level options include heated front seats and heated side mirrors. These optional features become standard for the higher trim levels. These trim levels also may be available with heated front seats, a digital instrument cluster, a heated steering wheel, auto climate control, an 11-inch touch display screen, a push-button ignition, more speakers for the sound system, a wireless charging pad, a sunroof, adaptive cruise control, and a blind-spot warning.
